FEATURING ROBERT DAVID ENGLISH – The Russian government is facing international condemnation – including from the US – at a United Nations Security Council meeting this week in the wake of a deadly chemical attack in Syria. Russian support for the Assad regime in Syria is one major flashpoint of several that the US and Russia have tussled over.
While Donald Trump and some of his cabinet members have said they would like to see an improvement in US-Russia relations, establishment lawmakers have continued to hint at Russian interference in the US political system.
The Putin regime in Russia is facing its own set of political problems with recent mass protests and a deadly subway blast.
