Activists Hold “Monsanto Tribunal” at the Hague

FEATURING DR. VANDANA SHIVA – Activists from all over the world will be convening at the Hague from October 14-16 for two parallel events aimed at American chemical giant Monsanto. The “Monsanto Tribunal” will, according to the organizers, “hold Monsanto accountable for their crimes against humanity, human rights violations and ecocide, in tandem with the People’s Assembly, a gathering of leading movements and activists working to defend our ecosystem and food sovereignty, to lay out the effects of industrial agrochemicals on our lives, our soils, our atmosphere and climate.”

The Monsanto Tribunal and People’s Assembly was set up by a coalition of groups from around the world including Navdanya in India, the organization founded by our guest, Dr. Vandana Shiva.
