Biden Urged to Do More to Protect Endangered Species

FEATURING TIERRA CURRY - Dozens of environmental and conservation organizations are urging the Biden administration to increase the budget of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s enforcement of the Endangered Species Act. The Service recently declared 22 animal and plant species extinct, a devastating announcement that nonetheless obscures the fact that many of the species had already been extinct and many more are lost while waiting for official protections to be processed.
