FEATURING DR. MANUEL PASTOR - The United States 2020 Census results are starting to be published, delayed by months due to the pandemic, and marred by the Trump Administration’s attempts to undermine the counting of diverse populations. White Americans remain the majority of the population by far. However, the Census showed that for the first time ever, the White population shrank over the past 10 years. Latino or Hispanic populations have grown most rapidly, followed by mixed race Americans, and then by Asians. Native Americans and Alaska natives also saw a surprising rate of growth. There was a marked decline in the under-18 population.
