FEATURING JOHN BONIFAZ – Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s 400+ page report has been released to the public, albeit with the Justice Department’s many redactions. Journalists are scouring the pages to determine if Attorney General William Barr’s 4-page assessment which was released just days after he received the report, was accurate. Barr has come under strong criticism for appearing to behave as the President’s personal attorney rather than the nation’s top federal prosecutor. In a press briefing ahead of the report’s release he claimed that the investigation into the President was, “unprecedented,” and attempted to justify Trump’s angry responses over the past 2 years. A key issue is whether the Special Counsel recommended that Congress take legal action on the issue Trump’s obstruction of justice.
