EarthEd: Rethinking Education on a Changing Planet

FEATURING ERIK ASSADOURIAN – This year on Earth Day, thousands of people all over the US and the world will march in support of science, the importance of funding scientific research, and understanding scientific data.

Ahead of Earth Day, the World Watch Institute has released a new book and project called EarthEd: Rethinking Education on a Changing Planet.

Our children are being left a planet ravaged by industrialization and yet we have not adequately prepared them to meet the challenges of climate change. EarthEd hopes to change that by suggesting a new way of designing educational curricula and training teachers.
