Election Special: Is It a Historic Night For Women?

FEATURING MELINA ABDULLAH – As we close out our coverage of the night, we examine the repercussions of the general election. On the one hand there has been deep damage done to the national psyche with the unleashing of virulent racism and sexism that many of us thought was long kept hidden. On the other hand, women turned out in droves to vote, many wearing white pantsuits to commemorate the candidacy of the first major party nominee for President.
