Since I began producing Rising Up With Sonali independently in summer 2025, it's been an incredible journey, figuring out how to sustain my work without institutional support.

Every week I bring you 3-4 original solutions-based interviews with diverse guests who are doing the hard work of winning social justice, plus my weekly Monday newsletter. From booking the guests, researching, writing copy, recording, running my own live-video production including lower thirds and B-roll, editing, mixing, uploading, posting to podcast platforms, transcribing, and publishing on this website, I do it all.

But it's not enough. Convincing free subscribers to pay $4 a month has been my biggest challenge and it's time for me to ask you what I could do to convince you to take the plunge.
