FEATURING TIRANA HASSAN – New evidence has emerged of Myanmar forces having launched a massive scorched earth campaign against the Rohingya minority in Rakhine state since August 25, leading to one of the worst refugee crises in recent history.
Amnesty International has analyzed data from satellite imagery and in conjunction with eye-witness reports, concluded that a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing has been taking place against the Rohingya in Myanmar.
Further, as Rohingya families have fled to neighboring Bangladesh, Myanmar forces have been found to be deliberating installing landmines along their escape routes.
