New Study Finds Massive Plastic Contamination of Drinking Water

FEATURING CHRIS TYREE – A new and terrifying global study of drinking water has found massive contamination by microscopic plastic fibers. The study is the first of its kind and identifies previously unknown contamination of water flowing out of taps in cities as far away as New Delhi, and as close by as Washington DC.

The origins of the microscopic fibers is still being debated, and its impact on human health still unknown. However animal studies indicate that it likely is not a good thing for us to be ingesting plastics.
