Rape and Sexual Assault Accusations In Election Deserve Serious Discussion

FEATURING JANE PIPER – Less than a day after the third and final presidential debate, GOP nominee Donald Trump faced new accusations from a woman who recounted a story of her sexual assault at his hands. Karena Virginia told members of the press how Trump groped her in public at the US Open in 1998 while asking, “don’t you know who I am?” The accusations against Trump range from unwanted touching all the way to rape. A woman named Katie Johnson has said Trump raped her in 1994 when she was only 13 years old. Trump’s ex-wife Ivana has also accused him of raping her.

Trump’s response to the accusations has been to dismiss the accusers as unattractive and looking for fame. He has even blamed his rival Clinton for making it all up.

Clinton for her part has remained silent over sexual assault allegations against her own husband.
