FEATURING DAVID DALEY – The word “redistricting” is an obscure-sounding political term to describe the redrawing of district maps that determine how candidates for political office are elected. Since 2010 the Republican Party has figured out how to hijack this process with a simple plan in place to favor its candidates and sweep state legislatures across the country. The colloquial term to describe this practice is called “gerrymandering” and my guest David Daley has written a book about it with a title that FCC rules prevent me from saying on the air.
