Tight Senate and House Races Could Change Congressional Balance

FEATURING DAVID DAYEN – With the presidential race sucking up all the energy and attention this election, there’s little discussion of the House and Senate races playing out across the country. Republicans have held control of both houses of Congress, making President Obama’s ability to move legislation forward or even nominate a Supreme Court justice extremely difficult. Now, a dozen or so close Senate races may flip control of the Senate. House races are also in play but Democrats may have an insurmountable task to take over that chamber.
