FEATURING SHAHID BUTTAR – Donald Trump has tapped Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions for his Attorney General, one of the most important cabinet positions. Sessions, whose views on race are so extreme that a Senate committee once refused to confirm him as a federal judge, could be in charge of the nation’s Department of Justice.
Trump is also openly considering Tea Party Congressman Mike Pompeo of Kansas to head the CIA. Both Sessions and Pompeo are hugely troubling on myriad levels. But today, we’ll take a look at what mass government surveillance and privacy might look like under Trump.
