FEATURING DOUG HENWOOD – The tell-all book by journalist Michael Wolff, detailing the first 6 months of the Trump Administration is already a bestseller only days after its release. Wolff spent months with Donald Trump’s campaign and then in White House, seemingly coming and going as he pleased, taking advantage of the chaos that has marked the Trump Presidency.
In Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, Wolff details in unsparing terms the President’s terribly short attention span and pathological narcissism, and exposes the internal warfare between various factions comprised of Steve Bannon, Reince Priebus, Jared Kushner, and Ivanka Trump. Wolff helps make sense of the relentless barrage of poorly thought out executive orders that emerged from Trump and the madness of Trump’s method.
When excerpts of the book were published in New York Magazine and The Guardian last week Trump threatened to sue the publisher. Instead of backing down, the publisher moved up the book’s release by 4 days. Trump has also taken his war with the now-ousted Bannon to new depths, referring to him on Twitter as “Sloppy Steve.”
