FEATURING JENNIFER WICKHAM – Protests are taking place across Canada in solidarity with First Nations protectors against a major pipeline project by multinational corporations. The Wet’suwet’en First Nation hereditary chiefs and land defenders have been opposing a fracked gas pipeline in Northern British Colombia that cuts right through their lands. The land protectors have set up camps that have been routinely attacked by RCMP, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Dozens have been arrested. But the solidarity protests are now spreading across Canada.
