JENNIFER GUTIERREZ - In late September, a group of faith leaders, immigrant rights activists, and others, set off on a nearly 100-mile journey by foot from the Adelanto Detention Center in Southern California’s high desert to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Downtown Los Angeles.
