A One Percenter Writes About Being “Born On Third Base”

FEATURING CHUCK COLLINS – American culture is steeped in the myth of the self-made man, the notion of a meritocracy that any person with enough talent and work ethic can make it to the top. But income inequality has continued to rise steadily since the 1970s, which either means we’re all a bunch of deadbeats and the rich are the noble ones who work hard and deserve their fabulous wealth. Or it means, the system is rigged against most of us.
