The Summit for Vaccine Internationalism, convened by the group Progressive International, drew spokespeople from nations like Venezuela, India, and Vietnam, and left-leaning leaders from Western nations like the UK’s Jeremy Corbyn and Greece’s Yanis Varoufakis. Participants called for a “new international health order” to overcome “vaccine apartheid.”
