As Israel Bombs Gaza, Sanders Skips AIPAC Conference

FEATURING HUWAIDA ARRAF – The American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is holding its annual conference this week. Attending that conference will be every single Presidential candidate – except for Bernie Sanders. The powerful Israel lobby group is often seen as king-maker in presidential politics. Sanders, who is Jewish, surprised many by refusing to attend, especially since he had come under fire from progressives for having a blind spot on Israel’s occupation of Palestine in the past.
