FEATURING ERIC LECOMPTE - The G20 Summit, which took place in Rome, Italy on the eve of the COP 26 UN climate meeting, drew together leaders of the world’s wealthiest nations to discuss the global economy and taxation, the pandemic, climate change and more. With the slogan of “People, Planet, Prosperity,” G20 leaders signed onto a declaration that made vague promises of multilateralism to solve the world’s big problems. While there was agreement on global taxation of corporations and tackling climate change, critics worry they don’t go nearly far enough.
