FEATURING HECTOR BARAJAS – More than a decade after he was first deported to Mexico, US Army Veteran Hector Barajas is returning to his home in Southern California. The founder of the Deported Veterans Support House in Tijuana, Mexico who served in the 82nd Airborne Division and received Army humanitarian service and good conduct medals, was pardoned by California Governor Jerry Brown last year.
Hector Barajas speaking to us a year ago just after he was pardoned by California Governor Jerry Brown. I’m so pleased to welcome back to our program Hector Barajas on the eve of his return to the United States. Hector found out just days ago that his US citizenship application was finally approved.
