FEATURING HECTOR BARAJAS – Undocumented immigrants are not allowed to legally do many things in the US. But they do them anyway in order to survive. Some even serve in the US military. But just being a soldier does not actually earn undocumented veterans the right to live legally in the US. Many have been deported and continue to be deported even after they have served in the Army.
On July 8, a number of veterans who feel they have been exiled out of the US, will be turning themselves in to US entry points in a dramatic act of civil disobedience.
