Environmental Group Releases Online Climate Teach-In During Week of Action

The leading environmental organization 350.org has released a set of videos called Climate teach-ins to help clarify what is at stake in the fight against climate change and what solutions exist to solve this crisis that is existential to our species. The massive March for Science on Earth Day, Saturday April 22nd, kicks of a series of events all over the country through Saturday April 29th when a People’s Climate Marches take place, followed by May Day on May 1st that emphasizes labor and immigrant rights. Look out for coverage on this program from many of these actions including the March for Science. Today we’ll end the program by showcasing 350.org’s online climate teach-in, a useful tool for those climate skeptics in your social circle. The videos features 350.org founder Bill McKibben, climate scientist Jim Hansen, actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and others.
