The Heritage Foundation, the same people who brought us Project 2025–a macabre plan for Donald Trump to destroy democracy during his second term– is under the New York Times' spotlight for another plan called Project Esther, aimed at destroying the Pro-Palestinian movement. The Times is late to the game. About a month after Project Esther became public, Al Jazeera wrote about it. As institutions around the nation censor and attack speech denouncing the genocide of Palestinians, that plan is being enacted.
Once media outlets and activist groups exposed Project 2025 last year, Trump distanced himself from it while campaigning. Now, the Heritage Foundation has removed online access to the plan and replaced it with a link to buy it book form.

In 2024, my team at YES! Media crafted an incredible response to Project 2025--we called it Progress 2025 and you can find it online here. It was our definitive plan to protect democracy, and I was so proud to have created a series of nine interviews with movement leaders and thinkers about how we can not only counteract the Heritage Foundation's dastardly plan, but strengthen networks, institutions, and communities.
If you're already a paying subscriber, you can take advantage of my foresight and download the Project 2025 document in PDF format below so you can see the Heritage Foundation's playbook for yourself and understand how our government is being reshaped.
