FEATURRING LEANN HALL – Eighty protesters were arrested in Washington DC this week as activists greeted Republican lawmakers returning from recess. The protests were held over the controversial American Health Care Act at 13 different locations in various House and Senate buildings.
The House passed the AHCA and it is now in the Senate’s court to vote on its version of the bill. But, given the unpopularity of the bill and the political controversy around Donald Trump Jr.’s meetings with Russian contacts, Republicans are rapidly running out of time on their central campaign.
