FEATURING TRINITY TRAN – As the numbers of Americans being laid off in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic skyrockets into the millions, food insecurity for the most vulnerable people is rising just as fast. Stepping in to the vacuum of government-assistance are local food banks, who are now facing the challenge of mobilizing volunteers at a time of required social distancing.

In Los Angeles, California, the organization Urban Partners LA is leading the way with a weekly food distribution program that puts 25,000 pounds of food into the hands of those who need it.
