How Destructive Have Trump’s “S**thole” Comments Been?

FEATURING SAMEER DOSSANI – Donald Trump’s comments during a private meeting with lawmakers where he derided immigrants from so-called “shithole” nations, have wreaked havoc here and abroad.

An angry and defensive president who has both confirmed and denied his use of the language has now declared that hopes for a DREAM act might be dead.

Internationally the African Union, which is a group of 55 nations, issued a statement condemning Trump’s words as, “outrageous, racist and xenophobic,” and demanded a “retraction and apology.”
