FEATURING STEVEN ROSENFELD - The House Select Committee on the January 6th insurrection has been holding hearings for weeks now, unraveling in detail a high-level plot for the U.S. Capitol to be overrun by a mob in order to pressure key decision makers to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. The most recent testimony by Cassidy Hutchinson, the top aide to former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows was particularly damning and appears to have given more impetus to the Justice Department to focus explicitly on Trump’s conduct.
