FEATURING COURTNEY MORRIS – The conventional wisdom of political organizing is that it is easier to make progressive gains under a Democratic president than a Republican one. Certainly under Barack Obama’s 8-year tenure progressives have seen some significant gains on the environmental, racial justice, and a tiny bit on economic justice. There have of course been losses. But what is facing us as a country under President elect Donald Trump is likely to make Obama’s presidency look like “the good old days.”
