‘Make Fruit Punch Great Again’ – Artists Make Most of Donald Trump’s Idiocy

FEATURING DAVID GLEESON AND MARY MIHELIC – The Presidential candidacy of Donald Trump has inspired mass fear among most sensible Americans who value racial and gender equality. But it has also inspired art and satire. After all, the bombastic businessman shoots from the hip and offers so much fodder for ridicule. Now, two artists, David Gleeson and Mary (or Mary Beth) Mihelic, cofounders of politically minded art collective T. Rutt, have begun straddling the line between the real and surreal. They have managed to acquire a Trump campaign bus and repurposed it. And, they have started building the US-Mexico border wall that Trump has been promising. They joined us from the road, from the Trump bus.
