FEATURING ROSE AGUILAR – Protests continued strong at Cannon Ball, North Dakota over the weekend as hundreds of activists and journalists descended to join “water protectors.” The fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline has escalated with recent police actions and mass arrests.
There are reports that hundreds of police from 5 different states have been called in. Many have been tear-gassed, hit with rubber bullets, and tasered.
But activists have also been ramping up their tactics. There were reports of a large road block that was set on fire to deter police from crossing.
