The human cost of our harsh immigration policies is not a common film trope in spite of the harm that countless people face. To remedy that, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights in LA (CHIRLA) has backed the production of a new film directed, written, and produced by Anika Tourse called America’s Family. Tourse also stars in the film.
