FEATURING DR. DARNELL HUNT - The new Hollywood Diversity report is just out, Part 2 of a two-part series on how race and gender are represented on our screens. Earlier this year, Part 1 focusing on film was released and now, the second report in the series, focusing on television is out.
Among the bright spots in the report is how increasingly diverse writers rooms are resulting in shows with higher ratings, suggesting an on-going hunger for multicultural casts and storylines. However, the report also demonstrates just how underrepresented Latinos and Native American remain in the television landscape.
Download Part 1 of the report released in April 2021 and Part 2 of the report released in October 2021.
