Ovarian Psycos – New Film Documents Women of Color Bicycle Group In LA

FEATURING JOANNA SOKOLOWSKI – A new documentary by two women filmmakers chronicles a group in Los Angeles that is so unique, you couldn’t make up their name or slogan, or their individual and collective stories. Ovarian Psycos is the name that a fierce group of women in Los Angeles have given themselves as they conduct nighttime monthly bike rides around the city.

Comprised of women of color, Ovarian Psycos has provided the primarily Latina women members a safe space to be together, have strength in numbers, deal with personal and societal violence, and challenge expectations through a lens of punk culture and feminism.
