FEATURING JOSE ARTIGA – Violence in Honduras continues months after a contentious election result handed victory to incumbent Juan Orlando Hernández over challenger Salvador Nasralla. Reports have been emerging of US-trained Special Forces called “Tigres,” conducting night-time raids on the homes of protesters and arresting them.
Hondurans are incensed about what they view as election theft as all early indications showed a win for Nasralla. Now, a US delegation of faith leaders has just returned from a trip to the Central American nation.
