‘Sleeping Giant: How the New Working Class Will Transform America’

FEATURING TAMARA DRAUT – On April 14 of this year, thousands of workers from all over the country and even world, stepped out of their low-paying jobs to demand $15 an hour. Fresh from minimum wage victories in California and New York, workers in 300 cities and 40 countries demanded higher wages. It was just the latest chapter in a growing national and international movement for income equality.

The immense pace with which the Fight for $15 has made progress since the first fast food strikes in New York in 2013, has been staggering.
