ROSS – Republicans in the House of Representatives have been unable as a whole, to disavow the wild, racist, violent, and conspiratorial members of their party—whether it is newly elected QAnon conspiracist Marjorie Taylor Greene, or former President Donald Trump. The appalling state of American politics has once more centered and empowered ideologies that had been relegated to the margins. My guest calls it the “Nazification of the Republican Party.”

Loretta J. Ross Associate Professor at Smith College in the Program for the Study of Women and Gender where she teaches courses on white supremacy, human rights and more. She has co-written three books on reproductive justice: Undivided Rights: Women of Color Organize for Reproductive Justice; Reproductive Justice: An Introduction; and Radical Reproductive Justice: Foundations, Theory, Practice, Critique.
