Shanahan, until as recently as 2017, was a high-level executive at Boeing corporation – one of the leading weapons manufacturers in the US. In fact he worked at Boeing for 30 years.
There has always been a revolving door between arms manufacturers and the US government. But under President Donald Trump, has that revolving door been spinning out of control?
