Thousands of scholars in the US and beyond have signed on to a petition calling for an end to the war on Iran. According to the signatories, “Israel has deliberately undermined peaceful diplomacy,” and its war is “a calculated attempt to deflect attention from the ongoing genocide it is committing in Gaza.” Among those who circulated the letter is Kaveh Ehsani is associate professor of International Studies at DePaul University in Chicago.
