FEATURING LORENA QUIROZ - It has been more than a month since residents of the majority-Black and Brown city of Jackson, Mississippi are without clean drinking water. After major flooding compromised a water treatment plant, the city was left without proper access to water. Now, although the faucets have begun flowing, it’s still not safe to consume the water. Worse, it’s not clear when or if the crisis will be resolved.
