Why Did The Guardian Fire a Popular Writer Over Israel Criticism?

When popular columnist and writer Nathan Robinson recently on Twitter posted a joke about U.S. military aid to Israel – a joke that is grounded in reality—he was promptly fired by the solidly left-of-center paper, The Guardian where he had been writing for several years.
