FEATURING PAUL GETSOS – Organizers for the People’s Climate March this Saturday April 29th, are hoping to outdo the huge success of last week’s Earth Day March for Science events. Since the Women’s March in January, activists from all walks of life have descended into the streets of their cities for regularly scheduled marches and demonstrations to send a strong message to Donald Trump.
No issue is as existentially important as climate change however. By threatening to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accords and massively cut the EPA’s budget Trump has provoked broad public anger.
On Saturday a major demonstration in Washington DC and corresponding satellite events all over the country will mobilize under the banner of the “People’s Climate March.”
