FEATURING JOE THOMPSON - Dozens of Starbucks cafes across the United States have held successful union votes and hundreds more have filed to hold votes, in what is the most prominent flurry of labor organizing activity in decades. The first vote was held just last December at a Buffalo, New York Starbucks. While the company says it supports the right of its workers to vote in union elections, it stands accused of union busting and firing employees who are organizing.
