FEATURING JIM HOUSER – As Americans are furiously working to file their tax forms ahead of this year’s IRS deadline, a new report explores the impact on small businesses of the new tax reform bill passed by Republicans and signed into law by President Donald Trump.
The Main Street Alliance’s report found among other things that, “The GOP tax law further skews the federal tax code to benefit large corporations, exacerbating their unfair advantage over small business.”
What small businesses need are people with enough money in their pockets to actually spend on local products and services. The tax bill does the opposite.
