FEATURING KAMAU FRANKLIN - A week of action this week aimed at Atlanta’s Cop City is in full force. Activists from across Georgia have converged to oppose a new facility spearheaded by the Atlanta Police Foundation that would be the nation’s largest police training center. Over the weekend, a group of activists participated in an action to breach the construction site. At least one vehicle was set ablaze and dozens were arrested. Twenty three people now face charges of terrorism.

Meanwhile, protests are continuing throughout the week by those opposing the expansion of police power as well as the violation of the Atlanta Forest where the facility will be built.
