Rising Up In the Streets: March for Science 2018

FEATURING NIC CHA KIM – Thousands of people attended the annual March for Science this past weekend in Los Angeles. The first such march, which took place in the wake of Donald Trump’s inauguration as President, was a concrete symbol of how scientists are getting political. The President and his party’s attacks on science and evidence-based policies to protect human and planetary health, have prompted such street demonstrations.
