Tom Hayden in His Own Words

FEATURING TOM HAYDEN – Long time Los Angeles-based progressive political activist and politician Tom Hayden has died. He was 76 years old. Earlier today we explored the importance of Hayden’s legacy with journalist Larry Bensky. Now, we end today’s show by going back decades, deep into the vault of the Pacifica Radio Archives, to hear Tom Hayden in his own voice, from a speech he gave in 1961 on registering African Americans in Mississippi.
