Trump Is Alienating His Business Allies

FEATURING NICOLE COREY – The CEOs of Intel, Merck, and Under Armour resigned from Donald Trump’s Manufacturing Jobs Initiative earlier this week, leading to a disbanding of the council. Then, dramatically, Trump announced on Twitter that he would end both the Manufacturing Council & Strategy & Policy Forum.

Trump had lashed out at the departing CEOs during a press conference on Tuesday blaming their corporations for making products outside the US, expertly deflecting from his defense of Nazis in Charlottesville. Trump had also denounced the CEOs on Twitter, accusing them of “grandstanding.”
